Blaze is rocking Berlin

The Dutch production Blaze had a very successful premier in the Admiralspalast in Berlin last Tuesday. The show, produced by Eric Holman and Eymert van Maanen, ended with a 20 minute applause followed by the song ‘Jump Around’. At that moment, the roof really came off the building. 1,500 people enjoyed the sensational show. This in the presence of German celebrities like Hadnet Tesfai and Brahim Zaibat, who is a breaker and Madonna’s boyfriend. Afterwards, everybody was thrilled.

The international cast consists of 9 dancers, 3 breakers and a DJ/MC. Two of the dancers are Dutch: Jomecia Oosterwolde and Angelo Pardo. Both known because of their performance in the television programs So You Think You Can Dance and The Ultimate Dance Battle. After London and Amsterdam, the premier in Berlin was the third international one with Blaze for Jomecia.

“I am so happy I am back on stage with Blaze. At the moment, this is the best dance shows in the world and every country we go to loves the show”, according Jomecia.

The other Dutch dancer is Angelo Pardo, the premier in Berlin was his international debut. “This is a dream coming true. I worked my ass of the last couple of weeks and a standing applause of 20 minutes is a great reward. The show was perfect tonight.”

Blaze will be in the prestigious Admiralspalast until Sunday September 25. At Friday September 30 the Dutch Blaze is Back-premier will take place in the Royal Theatre Carré, then the show will tour through Holland. Blaze will shine in more than 25 theatres, including The Hague, Rotterdam, Breda, Apeldoorn and Utrecht. In 2012 Blaze the show will go to Italy, Moscow, Hong Kong, Australia and probably Germany for a big tour.
